Student. Represented Cyprus at the 2022 Winter School in NiceIt would be great to spend one week in Nice at the end of February.' That was my first thought before I applied to the program. To be honest, I did not know what to expect, and of course I do not regret applying at the end. The whole experience was wonderful! Being around girls from 27 different countries was so inspiring and heart-warming, as I had the chance to get to know their stories and dreams for the future. Except from the other girls, I had the chance to meet and talk with successful people, who enjoy what they are doing and whose aim is to make a better world. With today’s circumstances, it seems that we need more and more of such people, people who want the best for their community, the best for Europe. All the speakers, the workshops, the spotlights, the panels where amazing, and made me more inspired and ready to make a change. The program brought to my mind a quote: “A small step for human, a big step for humanity.” Yes, by taking one girl from each country is a small step, but for humanity is a big one, and it can change more than we think. I owe a huge THANK YOU to the people who made this possible! So, at the end, the week was worth it a lot more than I thought, and it was one of the best weeks I had in my life so far! Do not hesitate, just go for it, and you won’t regret it!
